Our system designs start with your house plans and a complete heat loss and gain calculation. From this we can size the equipment that best fits your house and from that we can decide what type of equipment you want, need or what fits the budget. From gas furnaces and air conditioning units to air source heat pumps with auxilary electric heat, ground source systems or radiant in floor systems. Most systems we install require ducting and Whitefish Heat has a full shop with all the necessary equipment to make all custom ducting as needed. (pic on left) We do not use ductboard and cardboard panning in our systems. We try our best to design a ducted system with "end to end ducting" meaning steel trunk lines and branch lines all the way to supply air registers and return air grilles. One thing that really sets us apart from most HVAC companies is our attention to system design, especially with regards to return air runs in multiple rooms. Having return air runs in all living spaces (no bath rooms, laundry or kitchen) means we are moving the air and filtering the air more often in the house which also makes for a quieter system, more even heat and a healthier environment.

On the refrigerant side of the installation we install all line sets in accordance with accepted EPA and manufacture recommended practices (Brazing, Nitrogen purging, testing, vacuuming, system startup and charging methods)

Something that is not often thought of until its an addon and may cost more later is equipment such as air cleaners, electronic air cleaners, humidifiers and so on so we would like to talk about these in the first phases of the project.

We can gas pipe your entire house for such things as furnaces, fireplaces, BBQ stubs on decks, kitchen ranges, hot water tanks, dryers and more and it is helpful for us to work closely with you the customer on these items as the total BTU loads are important for sizing and costing of piping.

Another item we do as HVAC installers is your bath fan, kitchen range venting and dryer vents.
